| ...cause they might slam on their brakes right in front of you. Thus making you lock up your brakes and sliding on the asphalt going 45 MPH. Then you get picked up by an ambulance and get sent to the nearest hospital. There you will lie in a bed for 6 hours while you get an x-ray of your ankle. In the end, they say that you've just busted your ankle and that you were lucky that you were wearing your full gear. They give you crutches and you call someone to pick you up. You never see the bike. Just a reminder how close you would have came to a more serious injury looking at your ripped up pants, jacket, and battered helmet. You also have a little reminder of the hospital from the bracelet on your left wrist and the band-aid on your hand from the IV drip . No, this isn't a dream or a fantasy. It happened to me on Wednesday at about 12pm on highway 92 coming back from Half Moon Bay on my motorcycle. I'm just glad I didn't end up slamming my head or body against the back of the truck. And I'm glad I chose to gear up in the heat.
Sweat wipes off. Road rash doesn't. Gear up. Be safe out there my fellow riders.

| It's 4:50am, I'm bored, and I can't sleep. Fuck this.

| The past week has been perfect. Mid to high 90s equates for some good times in the sun and great outdoor night activities. If it's this hot mid spring, I can't wait for summer. The change in seasons is also a trigger of make up or break up for couples. There's been a lot of happenings recently. Some broke up, some got together. It's times like these that make me reminisce about the past and a single guy, like me, feel left out. The people who start dating reminds me of all the excitement of meeting a girl that I feel "special" with. The flirty conversations, the adventures to nowhere, and the affection. Then there's the people who broke up with each other. I've made some connections to some of the drama that has happened which makes me a bit remorse. But all is well since I'm reminded of all the overall bad experiences I've had with girls. Which leads me to believe that I'm better off being single. While everyone is out doing their own thing, I've been riding around on the motorcycle clearing my mind and relaxing. And when I want to take some frustration out I just shoot some targets with my airsoft gun. That's all a guy needs right? Autos, bikes, guns, and gadgets. Sure, there's that lonely part of me but during the past year, including recent events, has toughened me up to tolerate that void more and more. I now have a "whatever" attitude when it comes to the subject of dating. What doesn't happen now, will happen later. And if not later, never.
My apologies for that little rant above, I just had to get that out. Anywho, right now, I just wanna get away from the bay (Hey, that rhymes!). Perhaps I'll take a trip down to Santa Cruz for a day on the bike. But what I'm really itching for is a So-Cal trip. Just me and a few buddies going down to chill. But there's gonna be a day this week that you won't be able to reach me. If that occurs, don't worry, nothing has happened. I'm probably riding/walking around Santa Cruz/random beaches. Ahh, that sounds so nice! Oh! I also wanna hit up the hookah bar sometime this week too. I've been itching to do that for the past two weeks. I want a huge group to go. That'll be fun. *sigh* So much stuff to do and so little funds lol. Alrighty, time for some ice cream and Top Gear re-runs, then bed. Late.
